Hi, I'm Michael Ward. I'm on a journey to become a full-time wildlife photographer, and I'm sharing the whole thing, not just the highlight reel. This channel is about my attempt to connect with nature through cameras. I mostly point my camera at birds — if it flies, I'll try to film it. But you'll see other wildlife here too, along with plenty of gear talk and honest reflections on the process. I'm learning as I go, so you'll see the good days, the bad days, and everything in between. My goal is to share the real experience, not just the pretty pictures. It's also about the struggle to turn a passion into a career, which is not always easy. I don't hold back, and I don't pretend something happened when it didn't.
