The Street Sliders are... Hiroaki Murakoshi (HARRY) Vo, G Kohey Tsuchiya (RANMARU) G, Vo Yoji Ichikawa (JAMES) Bass, Vo Masao Suzuki (ZUZU) Dr November 1979 at Fuchu Amateur Band Festival, ZUZU and RANMARU encountered Murakoshi's stage, which was a rampage, pouring alcohol on the audience. Spring of 1982, they gained popularity as "Little Stones" at the U.S. military camp in Fussa. March 5, 1983, debuted from EPIC/SONY with the album "Slider Joint" and the single "Blow The Night!". Since the band's formation, their overwhelming live performances drew many audiences, and in 1987 they performed at the Nippon Budokan for the first time (including last live, they had a total of 13 shows). Sliders was not bounded by the times but followed their own rock'n'roll style. October 2000, after their 689th stage, the band disbanded. They left behind 23 singles and 10 original albums. Their works continue to have a profound impact to this day. 2023 will mark the 40th anniversary of their debut.
