I am a former member of the Buffalo Philharmonic bass section under Michael Tilson Thomas and served on the faculties of SUNY at Buffalo and Heidelberg College. I have played with the likes of the Fifth Dimension, Ertha Kitt, Ethel Merman, Carol Lawrence, Mary Martin, Helen O'Connell, Ruth Buzzi, Mitzi Gaynor, Richard Harris, Jose Feleciano, George Shearing, Marian McParland, Rose Mary Clooney, Cab Calloway, Big Bird, AND Mr. Rogers. This site is a combination of original compositions, arrangements, and demos of standard tunes. They are 95% first takes... no perfection here. My bass is a '69 Precision with a humbucker I added in 1971. All the videos use the P pup unless I state otherwise. I use Markley or DR flatwound strings. My upright is a 1970 German Miesel. Please use headphones! I received my BM from SUNY Fredonia and MFA from SUNY at Buffalo with Permanent Certification in Instrumental Music K-12. I present workshops and clinics in an educational setting.
