We are an instrumental progressive rock/metal band from Moscow. Avoiding both the wanton reiteration of the past and overindulgence in production, we aspire to say something new in the genre. Aton Five was founded in 2014 by Alexander Seleznev (guitar) and Mikhail Zenkov (bass). Starting with the Long Forgotten Tales EP, the band gets some attention and plays as an opening act for Elder in Moscow as well as at some local festivals. A studio live EP Live at Mars is soon released. The Solarstalgia LP comes out in 2018 on Mars Records and R.A.I.G. Records labels. The album — space-rock-flavored with a coherent narrative — was well met, placing it on the same shelf as The Grand Astoria by the european genre enthusiasts. While gathering some inspiring reviews, the band goes on tour. As soon as 2020 the Childhood's End is released on R.A.I.G. Records — a compilation of both rare tracks and live recordings — signifying an entering into a new, mature musical era for the band.
