John Hosking is a freelance organist and composer based in Lancashire, most recently holding the post of Organist in Residence at Blackburn Cathedral. Prior to this he was Director of Music at Holy Trinity, Southport, following 14 years as Assistant Director of Music at St. Asaph Cathedral. He has appeared as a recitalist in many prestigious venues including Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, Washington National Cathedral and St. Paul's Cathedral, with over 20 solo recitals at Westminster Abbey. John appears on several commercial recordings to critical acclaim and has broadcast regularly for the BBC. An active composer, most of his works are published by Chichester Music Press.
