The Berkshires (or "The Berks" for short) is an Indie Rock Band that formed in 2009 under the name "Muster Station". Their lineup has changed numerous times and they finally have found a sound (and a name) that fits their personality as a band. It is hard to label the band with a single genre because their style varies from reggae, to jazz, to rock; along with many other herbs and spices. While conveying a unique sound, the band maintains bluesy/roots rock melodies that everyone finds to be contagious and catchy. Most of the musicians have been brought up on their instruments via jazz, so they are able to add the ever-intriguing element of improvisation to their "roots rock" sound.
