I am a 75 year old great grandmother who still feels like a little kid inside. I have a degree in electronics and one in computer science. I went to college when I was 42 years old so it sometimes seems to me I am always trying to catch up. Retired after 6 years with Boeing as an electrician and 25 years with Ma Bell as a testing and turn up technician. I started playing with robotics in the 1990's using Fischertechnik kits then moved on to Lego's. I spend my time now with The Seattle Robotics Society and have been involved in the production of our yearly competition called Robothon. (SRS activities have been suspended since the start of the Covid pandemic) I also now design robotic kits for a company in Spokane called Minds-I and make stuff and beta test for Parallax Inc in Rocklin, CA. I wrote for Robot Magazine for several years and now write for Servo Magazine.
