Southall is a six-piece Red Dirt force from Oklahoma built on grit, volume, and working-class pride. Formed by Read Southall in 2015 after leaving school to work in the oil patch, the band grew from regional bars into a nationally touring act on the strength of relentless shows and word-of-mouth buzz. Their breakout 2017 album Borrowed Time and fan favorite “Why” helped cement a loyal following, while later releases showcased a heavier, more collaborative sound. Now operating simply as Southall, every member contributes songs and ideas, blending country storytelling with rock & roll muscle and flashes of hard rock. With more than 133 million Spotify streams and nearly 1 million monthly listeners, Southall represents not just a band, but a hardworking Oklahoma mindset.
