The Composers Conference nurtures the creation, performance, and appreciation of music, serving as a catalyst for conscientious creativity through shared wisdom, expertise, and diverse artistry. We believe that music can contribute to a more compassionate, ethical, and equitable world by cultivating the full range of creative inclusivity and representation. Our goals are to provide broader access to aspiring musicians and to deepen our connections to the community at large. We seek to create a sustainable framework and pathway for greater diversity in future generations of musicians. The annual Composers Conference is dedicated to helping all participants – Fromm Foundation Composer Fellows, Fromm Foundation Contemporary Performance Institute Fellows, and Chamber Music Workshop participants – hone their musical craft through seminars, coaching, masterclasses, recording, and performance opportunities.
