Piyush Chauhan, born into a family of dancer of the Jaipur style of kathak, I studied Tabla with my father Shri Lalit Chauhan before starting my kathak Training in a very young age at National Institute of Kathak kendra, Mandi House, New Delhi under the guidance of renowned Guru Shri Rajendra Gangani ji. I am the recipient of a Merit scholarship from the Ministry of Culture 2012-2013. I am personally associated with Smt. Aditi Mangaldas Dance Company as a Sr. Dancer (permanent). I have worked with many leading choreographers, including Pandit Birju Mararaj ji, the leading practitioner of the Lucknow, Shri Mati kumudni Lakhyia, Smt. Geetanjali Lal & Pt. Shri Jai kishen Maharaj etc.
