Callous Coder is an infotainment channel for people who still know what a floppy disk is—and liked it that way. The character behind the channel is Ray(mond) Doetjes: freelance programmer, SFX/VFX artist (IMDb page: www.imdb.me/raymonddoetjes), and a guy with 30+ years in IT. He’s done some deeply questionable things in his younger days, learned a lot from them, and never fully escaped the 80s—especially when a guitar is within reach. On this channel, Ray weaponizes his wildly mixed professional background to do gloriously useless things, ramble about GenX life, and sneakily teach STEM while pretending not to. The goal? To inspire, educate, and occasionally confuse—showing younger viewers how GenX learned best: by playing, breaking stuff, and having way too much fun doing it. Because let’s be honest: old guys teach best when they’re not trying too hard. 😎
