The Golden Horseshoe Live Steamers operate miniature locomotives at the Hamilton Museum of Steam and Technology. The club’s facilities include: - 1200 feet of elevated dual gauge (4 ¾” and 3 ½”) track with transfer table and steaming bays, - 1400 feet of ground mounted 7 ¼” gauge track with turntable, loading hoist and steaming bays, - Club riding cars for all gauges, - A railway station house, car barns and storage sheds, - A pedestrian bridge crossing both tracks, - 200 foot loop of raised small scale live steaming track – 45 mm and 32 mm gauges, - 100 foot loop of electrified G scale double track – 45 mm guage for DC and battery-powered DCC operation.
