The Never-Ending Sea Trial is a hands-on boat project channel documenting the real-world modernization of Tangaroa, a 1969 aluminum motor yacht. We focus on practical yacht engineering and long-term upgrades — engines, propulsion, electrical systems, batteries, solar, steering, cooling, fabrication, and problem-solving aboard an older boat. This isn’t theory or quick makeovers. It’s real work, done onboard, with real consequences. Most of the projects are tackled by us, without a production crew, and shown honestly — including the mistakes and lessons learned along the way.
