I am also a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). I hold a Master of Science in finance from the University of Leicester (UK) and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in finance from London Metropolitan University. I have over 25 years of experience in Qatar in the finance field, internal auditing, external auditing, and accounting in different sectors (Banking, offshore oil & gas, internal & external auditing, shipping, real estate, and the government sector). I held many positions, including Chief Financial Officer (Oil and gas), Vice President, Finance (Shipping, offshore, and real estate), Internal Audit Supervisor (banking), and External Audit.
