In today’s world, the concept of “church” appears to be quite different from what we read in the Bible, particularly in the Book of Acts. Today, the emphasis seems to be on buildings, edifices, programs, performance, and materialism rather than on community, righteous living, and fulfilling God’s will.
At Tyler Gospel Chapel, we strive to emulate the Early Church. We acknowledge our inability to create that church, but are confident in our Lord Jesus and His efforts to make that a reality. We emphasize the importance of seeking the direction of the Holy Spirit and refusing the ways of carnal-minded endeavors.
Come join us as we “contend for the faith that was once delivered to the saints.” The way is narrow, but the destination is much more precious to us than anything this world has to offer!
