The Divine breathed out, and we forgot who we were. We called it “the Fall.” Life became serious and heavy. Struggle and the battle between good and evil became the stories we lived by. Now the Divine is breathing us back in. We’ve made a U-turn and are moving in the opposite direction. We call it “Ascension.” This journey is not about learning more, but about un-learning what we have learned against our divine nature. As we remember who we truly are, life becomes lighter. Innocence, curiosity, joy, and passion are honored again. I’m delighted to create songs that help facilitate this wonderful journey we’re all on. For this project, I draw much inspiration from Bashar, channeled by Darryl Anka, whose explanations of the nature of reality and the truth of who we are beautifully support the purpose of this channel. As Bashar says, “The quickest path to Enlightenment is to simply ‘Lighten up!’” And what better way to lighten up than to sing ourselves awake – with lyrics that ring true!
