Coming a long way from a small-town, Pampore, learning most of his time, Saraf Ali Bhat got to write for quite a good number of news publications that included some national ones and some blogs of international repute (fourteen or more)—before he settled down as a full-time learner and a seeker of the beyond. Saraf Ali Bhat an untutored learner and an author of something that happened unintentionally back in 2017. In early 2019, he came up with something that was written from a student's perspective and his experiences of living alone and away from family that won him a Global Reader's Choice Award that year.
