Barbarella (Barbara Pugliese), is a half Italian London based singer. She has established a reputation for stunning, sensual and intense shows with her band Barbarella’s Bang Bang, who formed in the queer and underground scene of South East London and appeared several times at Glastonbury Festival, Boomtown, Fuji Rock and more. In 2023, she launched her solo career with the single ‘Lonely’, produced by Dave Randall (Faithless ) , delivering a series of sold-out shows at key London venues such as Paper Dress Vintage, The Windmill in Brixton, as well as festival appearances on stages including Strummerville and Rum Shack at Glastonbury. Her much-anticipated solo album ‘Needed’ was released on February 6th 2025, along with a full house launch party/ live band gig at Peckham Audio, cementing her status as an artist to watch in 2025 and beyond.
