Kritya Foundation’s mission is to preserve and further the tradition of the Indian classical dance style Kuchipudi and Carnatic Music by providing dance classes, workshops, community engagement programs, performances, lectures and demonstrations in the US & beyond.
About the Founder: Yamini Kalluri is a professional Kuchipudi dancer, choreographer, and founder of Kritya Foundation, based in the United States. Trained in traditional Kuchipudi in India and in Ballet and Modern dance in the US, she creates powerful crossover works blending Indian classical dance with Western classical music.
Her choreography bridges Carnatic, Hindustani, and Western traditions through original collaborations with the Kritya Music Ensemble. Through performance and education, she is dedicated to expanding the global reach of Kuchipudi while honoring its lineage, rigor, and spiritual depth.
