The Ordo Templi Astartes (OTA) is a Hermetic- Rosicrucian Lodge practicing Ceremonial Magick in the Western Occult Tradition. The Agrippa Lodge of the OTA is an official branch of the Order, practicing in Orange County California run by Frater Balthazar. Our Magick is Kabbalistic and chiefly derives from the Clavicles of Solomon. Our initiations are based on the 18th Century Freemasonic system of Crata Repoa, and seamlessly synthesize the philosophy of the Western Mystery Tradition with practical Magick. The Order is sponsored by the Church of the Hermetic Sciences, a Californian religious institution, incorporated in January 1971. The Church is non-denominational and does not proselytize a dogma or ‘revelation’. The Ordo Templi Astartes is secret and Initiatory, requiring in-person initiation, but supporting an associate member program with an international network of occult students and scholars.
