Helping Hand is a nonprofit organization serving adults and children with disabilities in suburban Cook County and greater Chicagoland communities since 1955. OUR MISSION: Transforming lives of all connected to Helping Hand through genuine care and education. OUR VISION: For people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to be equally valued in all communities. The programs and services at HH include a school, progressive employment programs that promote being equally valued in workplaces, pediatric therapies (occupational and speech/language), high school transition services, Community Living (CILA), and specialized programs with high team member-to-client ratios for seniors with disabilities.
