The Western DuPage Special Recreation Association has been providing fun, recreational opportunities to individuals of all ages with disabilities since 1976.
WDSRA offers programs, trips, and special events to children and adults with special needs including Special Olympics and adapted sports programs, dance and art programs, as well as social clubs and camps.
WDSRA is a cooperative extension of nine park districts in the western suburbs of Chicago including: Bloomingdale, Carol Stream, Glen Ellyn, Naperville, Roselle, Warrenville, West Chicago, Wheaton and Winfield. WDSRA is a two-time winner of the National Gold Medal Award and a recipient of the Illinois Distinguished Agency Award.
