Balzan was formed by Amir Balafshan, vocalist, and Nima Ramezan, instruments, collaboration. An album, "Balzan" and few "singles" was released. The project is to be continued ... Since Amir lives in Rasht and Nima in Tehran, pieces are developed mostly via virtual communication. Lyrics are extracted out of contemporary poems by Nosrat Rahmai, which is a rope, linking distinctive musical aspects of these two musicians. The original idea of Balzan's musical scope is rooted in Nima's attempting to fuse some elements of rock music to electronic music. Moving forward, Amir's ideas was added to the plate and of his different point of view on music composition and different attitude toward literature, Balzan become a successful and distinctive musical project in Iran
