Welcome to the YouTube channel for Tom Weber Films. I'm a Pennsylvania-based producer/director of movies about musicians. I'm a lone filmmaker in the tradition of Dziga Vertov, Ricky Leacock and Les Blank. Although I do shoot formal interviews, mostly I try to blend in with the surroundings and capture lightning in a bottle. During the pandemic of 2020-21, I co-produced 32 two-hour livestream episodes of THE NORMAN NARDINI SHOW with the longtime East Pittsburgh rocker. All shows are archived on this channel. My feature-length documentary TROUBADOUR BLUES can be seen on Amazon Video for a nominal price; it's also available for sale at most retail outlets. I do a lot of concert video work for local and national acts. I'm currently editing another documentary, DON'T GIVE UP YOUR DAY JOB, teaching video production to kids, and trying to write a book.
