Unprepared Readiness is an international improvisation performance residency focused on live, embodied research across movement, performance, sound, text, and visual arts. Each edition brings together artists from different backgrounds to work intensively in studio and in public or site-based contexts, exploring how artistic decisions emerge in real time through presence, listening, and collaboration. Rather than repeating a fixed format, every edition evolves from the people, place, and questions involved — shaping distinct processes, performances, and ways of working. What remains constant is the commitment to improvisation as a shared practice of attention, risk, and collective creation.
