Amy looks forward to returning to the Royal Opera House Covent Garden in their upcoming production of Das Rheingold covering the role of Woglinde under Antonio Pappano, directed by Barrie Kosky. She makes her German and role debut next summer in Theater Magdeburg performing La Contessa in their new production Le Nozze di Figaro. Amy is an alumna of the Irish National Opera Studio 2018-19 and is currently based in Hannover, Germany. She is under the tutelage of Dutch soprano Hanneke de Wit. She recently made her role debut as Elisabetta I in Donizetti’s Maria Stuarda with Irish National Opera. She performed the role of Gretel in Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel in an Irish National Opera production which was awarded Best Opera in the 2020-2021 Irish Times Theatre Awards. She was recently invited to perform as part of the EU50 Celebration in Ireland with their National Symphony Orchestra as the only Irish soloist in Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 at the National Concert Hall, Dublin.
