Caspian is a Canadian hip-hop artist from Surrey, British Columbia. Born in Kuwait City to a Persian family, he immigrated to Canada following the Gulf War, eventually settling in Vancouver where he discovered hip-hop and began his musical journey. He first gained recognition as an undefeated battle rapper on Vancouver’s 102.7 FM, earning over 80 consecutive wins and the nickname “The Wayne Gretzky of Battle Rap.” His success led to live performances across the region while still in his teens. Caspian later signed with CP Records and achieved national attention with his single “Amnesia” featuring Belly, which reached the Top 3 on MuchVibe TV. He has toured throughout Canada and Europe, sharing stages with artists including Rick Ross, Pusha T, Tech N9ne, Akon, Yelawolf, and Merkules. Featured by outlets such as Vice/Noisey, HipHopDX, and WorldStarHipHop, Caspian continues to establish himself as one of Canada’s respected independent hip-hop artists.
