Joe Atman is a graduate student and musician who lives in Claremont, California. Two years ago he began playing piano at The Press restaurant, where he was approached by Interstellar Music's Jon Crawford about recording some of his songs. Atman, however, had no band. What he did have was a wealth of musicians from within the town of Claremont itself. So Jon, Joe, and nearly every musician in Claremont started working on what would eventually become a full fledged album entitled, 'It Took The Village"..
Joe continues to play the piano every Wednesday night at The Press. The small but enthusiastic Claremont music scene has been the cradle for Joe's musical rebirth, and he feels extremely fortunate to be a part of it.
