EU Jazz Encounters in China aims to create new jazz pieces rooting from different countries folk music, composed and performed by EU and Chinese musicians. The project aims to deepen the dialogue between jazz and folk, musicians originating from different countries, as well as to enhance a jazz dialogue between Europe and China. We are aiming to provide the Chinese audience with concerts in jazz venues, appearances at Jazz Festivals across China as well as online broadcasts shared on multiple platforms.
