Lisa Nordström is an award-winning composer and multidisciplinary artist based in Gothenburg, Sweden. With a background in classical music, her work now spans experimental electronics, contemporary classical, improvisation and sound art. She first gained recognition with the internationally acclaimed electronic duo Midaircondo, and has since composed for film, dance, installation and orchestra.
In 2022, she won Sweden’s top film award, the Guldbaggen for Best Original Score for Children of the Enemy, and was nominated for the Camille Award in the Best Score for a Feature Documentary category. She was also named Composer of the Year by SKAP (Swedish Society of Songwriters, Composers and Authors).
Her compositions have been featured at festivals such as Sónar, Mutek, Berlin Music Week and CPH:DOX. She has collaborated with José González, Matmos, The Soundtrack of Our Lives.
