Just chucking a few songs up out of curiosity. Not looking to become the next Justin Bieber, ha. Neither a performer nor a producer; a poverty of both time & technique, so these are mostly wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am one-take stolen moments out of a busy schedule; proceed with caution and crank the volume down from the default max, ha. The objective, the zen, for me is just to write a song, to enjoy the process of creation with its twists & turns and happy accidents and re-directions, be it fluffy pop or over-the-top arena rock, retro country or angst-dripping folk dirge. To fuse lyric & melody & rhythm into one organic expression that pleases or even sometimes surprises me - especially when it wrests control from me and decides what IT wants to become.
