Bill Pagaran, Wakanyan Hentopi Na Wakan Gakonka (Lakota name = Sacred Sound of Thunder), travels to villages and Alaska with a message of hope. He used drumming, hiking and his non-profit, Carry the Cure, to give people reasons to live. Bill is a professional percussionist (currently playing with Broken Walls, author (Rise Above It and Drumming in Half the Time), motivational speaker, evangelist and most importantly a husband and father. Each summer, Bill summits 22 Peaks to dance his prayers, play his drum and pray for veterans (and their families) and bring awareness to the fact that 22 veterans commit suicide each year. Bill also has a weekly podcast called Rhythms of Life Moments, as well as regular short videos on Facebook called Mountaintop Prayers.
