Craig's words and music have probably been described most accurately by blogger 'Girl Afraid' as 'heartbreaking and brave' due to his music being heavily centred around his emotional lyrics which are 'very personal and nothing but sincere'. Taking influence from artists such as Conor Oberst, City and Colour and The Felice Brothers, Craig has a simplistic musical style that creates space and an uncomplicated backdrop for his heartfelt words. Alongside writing and playing for a number of bands over the years that have played a string of high profile venues, live sessions on BBC Introducing and achieved media recognition, Craig has been writing his own words and music and has turned this into his only concern. A concern that he shares with many other writers which is to share his art with as many people as possible in the hope of a personal connection and resonance with his audience.
