A selection of music that I've created - sometimes with collaborators. My aim is to produce interesting sonic/rhythmic textures and grooves rather than traditional songs as such. I use guitars, analogue synths, percussion, effects units and Cubase to put my work together. Some tracks are finished works whilst others are more sketchy demos. I generally try to create my own synth and percussion sounds and only occasionally use samples from other people's work - though my influences run far and wide. The background artwork/photography is my work. I grew up in Brentwood in Essex and then, after a few years in Lancaster and Morecambe, I settled in Holloway, London - where I first started to put a modest studio together - and since 2000 I've been based in Chorlton-cum-Hardy, Manchester.
