~PLAY~To engage in activity for enjoyment and recreation rather than a serious or practical purpose. So much of the past decade of my life I have been trying to figure out how I can spend more of my life learning new things and traveling to places I haven't been simply for enjoyment instead of endlessly pursuing the next track, the next course, the next job, THE STABLE LIFE.... I have constantly needed a reminder to not take myself too seriously and enjoy what life has for you today. When I first graduated high school the pool was my reminder for play. When I was in college, CrossFit was my reminder. After graduating, the ocean and the outdoors become my reminder to relax and enjoy where I was in life. Recently a person has been that reminder for me, her name is Liz Lutz, my wife. I find myself constantly getting pulled into the consumer mindset and typical American lifestyle. I've committed to keeping myself from falling into this never ending cycle and you can too!
