Mission Statement Founded in 2020, the Bay Area Persian Music Ensemble is the first nonprofit Persian community orchestra established in the United States. Dedicated to the study, practice, and performance of Persian classical music, the ensemble provides a communal and educational environment where members come together to explore this centuries-old art form in depth. Under the leadership of Faraz Minooei, the ensemble strives to enrich the Bay Area’s cultural landscape and foster a deeper understanding of Persian music and its enduring beauty through concerts, workshops, and outreach programs.
