As of 2026, the Cooperative serves more than 30,250 members across seven counties in South Dakota and Minnesota. South Dakota counties include Brookings, Lake, Moody, Minnehaha and eastern Kingsbury. The Minnesota counties served are Pipestone and Rock. Sioux Valley Energy is a Touchstone Energy Cooperative. Connecting the people of America’s electric cooperatives to benefit members and their communities makes Touchstone Energy Cooperatives different from traditional power companies.
