Since many years, the guitar style of Francesco Colombi is strongly influenced and inspired by the sound of the guitar players and bands of the 40s & 50s like Charlie Christian, Tiny Grimes, Bill Jennings, T.Bone Walker , PeeWee Crayton , Ike Turner, Johnny “Guitar” Watson, Eddie “Guitar Slim” Jones, Earl King, the three Kings ( B.B. , Albert and Freddie) and many many others Their repertoire is based on a fabolous mix of obscure classic “post-war” blues, early Rhythm’n’Blues, Swing, Jump blues , black Rock’n’roll and everything in between.
