2012 the solo project SMI has been created. The goal was to combine several sounds in one instrument to give the sensation of a whole band playing with just using one acoustic guitar. Since then SMI played several shows in different countries, released one album and is working on the second one currently. The songs from the second album include a lot of live looping and additional electronic sounds on top of guitar and vocals to enhance the sensation of a one-man band. The songs are influenced by everyday circumstances and small details that ones tend to oversee in our fast living society. Affected by personal experiences, lyric wise, the songs try to encourage the listener to become part of a journey that one can relate to on an emotional level.
