Demiurgo – Electronic Music for Your Imagination
Demiurgo is the electronic music project of Paolo Di Pierdomenico, active since the late ’90s with the idea of a narrative and imaginative approach to composition. Relaunched in 2020 with a renewed sound and visual identity, the project explores the borderlands between cyberpunk atmospheres, ghostly soundscapes, and progressive electronic storytelling.
Blending IDM, glitch, and experimental sound design with harmonic depth and melodic clarity, Demiurgo creates music that is both complex and accessible. His work is strongly tied to cinematic visuals and conceptual narratives, where each release embodies a distinct world and mood. From the cyberpunk landscapes of Holographic Ghost Stories to the introspective 7 Virtues for a Wandering Spirit, the myth-inspired Daidalos, the improvisation-based IMP, and the dystopian concept Not A Number (with Kindread Project), every project expands this universe of sound and vision.
