i'm back, and the code is better. what i do: i use python to speed up/slow down audio files to create unique interpretations of music. this modified audio is combined with a random GIF and, voila, you have something people might enjoy. that's right, i now upload sped up versions. incredible, isn't it? i hope people will enjoy that part. it should cover a broader circle of interests. this is all done in mass with the click of a button (or two). the only "work" that's needed is sourcing the music. i can now churn out disgusting quantities of videos. nice. from here on out, slowed tracks will have a slight EQ boost in the high-end to bring back out high frequencies which lose their sparkle after modulation. The boost is on the order of ~3db and crosses over around 7khz. that felt like a good middle ground to be applied across the board. rendering large batches of videos has become quite easy. right now, my only bottleneck is youtube's daily upload limit. - silently
