I am Don, I restore old 1/64 scale diecast cars and build customs. My love of Hot Wheels started when I was about 5 years old and got my first few cars. That was back in 1977, before Star Wars, before Indiana Jones, before big hair bands, before the greatest decade of my life, the 1980's. I played with diecast cars until I lost interest when I was 14 in 1986, even then I kept my diecast cars, until a house fire in 2012 robbed me of them. I rediscovered my love for these little cars in 2019, and I found some awesome, amazing guys making videos of restoring this old love of mine on YouTube. Although I know I will never be as good at it as those I have seen so far, I hope I can make some sort of contribution to the hobby and share my journey with you. Maybe rebuild the collection I had and take it farther than I ever imagined. Hang on for the ride!
