The Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Foundation for Peace is a registered charity created by the parents of 12 year old Tim Parry and supported by the parents of 3 year old Johnathan Ball. Both Tim and Johnathan were tragically killed as a direct result of the IRA's 1993 bombing of Warrington, as part of its political agenda to force Britain to withdraw from Northern Ireland. The Foundation is the only UK organisation founded by victims of terrorism which supports others affected by political violence, conflict and acts of terror. We work with people of all ages, race, faiths and nations with the aim of turning personal and / or community trauma into positive action. We do this by providing activities which include storytelling and dialogue, advocacy and awareness raising and educational programmes on the causes, management and non-violent resolution of conflict.
