Tongues of Fire Group (TOFG) was founded in April 2025 in Morogoro, Tanzania, by God's servant Mesharck M. Philipo.
The ministry began at Prof. Palamagamba Kabudi Secondary School with the purpose of inspiring students to know God more deeply and to walk in the power, gifts, and guidance of the Holy Spirit.
As the ministry continued to grow, it became evident that the grace and calling God had entrusted to TOFG should not remain within the boundaries of a school environment. Therefore, the vision expanded to reach surrounding communities, different cities, and eventually nations with the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the power of the Holy Spirit, and preparation for the Second Coming of Christ.
