Erika Lewis is a singer, songwriter and performer originally from the Hudson Valley in New York State. She is best known as the lead voice for the New Orleans jazz and blues band, Tuba Skinny. In 2013, Erika formed The Lonesome Doves as an outlet for her original songs. These songs were born from life and love with influence from greats such as Hank Williams, Hazel Dickens, Joni Mitchell and Gillian Welch. At the same time, taking direct inspiration from her community of friends, songwriters and bands including The Deslondes, Hurray For The Riff Raff, and Sundown Songs. She is currently based in Asheville, NC.
