Composer, pianist, producer Alessandro Sgobbio keeps expanding his personal vocabulary of compositions, improvisations and spiritual explorations throughout music. Performing internationally as a soloist, duo and with his band Silent Fires, he has been touring across Europe, Scandinavia, UK, China and USA. He has issued numerous recordings as a leader/co-leader and has been nominated for the best new talents of the year at the Italian TopJazz. His recents “Forests” (2019), “Transparence” (2021), “Piano Music” (2022), “Piano Music 2“ (2023) & “Piano Music 3” (2025) have received multiple awards for the best album on Musica Jazz, Jazzism, All About Jazz and other press outlets. “I find such an extremely powerful experience to sit on piano, close my eyes and start playing a song dedication. Each piece is like an open trip diary, where the composer, the listener and the person or place whose the music is dedicated - they all can meet, meditate, coexist and write together new stories.”
