I make ambient electronic music using a modern mellotron, bass, alto recorder, kalimba and the iPad. I do a lot of sound-on-sound looping using a Boss RE-202 Space Echo pedal with a loop of six seconds. In addition, there’s live jams, soundscapes, improvisations and gear reviews for making ambient music, often with the iPad as some part of the chain — from just a couple of effects to a complete production. The Ambient iPad. I’ve produced music under my own name and Synthetic Block, available on all the streaming/download sites and Bandcamp. I've had albums released by various labels (including Hypnos, Mindspore and Gears of Sand) that are available through online retailers. My music has appeared on compilation albums and featured on many radio shows, including Echoes and Star's End.
