Community Artist, Speed-Painter - commissions always welcome Born in Suffolk, now based in Dumfriesshire, UK, Loïs Cordelia is a versatile community artist, speed-painter, mixed-media sculptor, and shadow-puppet animator. From intricate miniatures to large sculptural installations, her artwork spans a wide range of mediums, styles and scales, balancing precision with free-flowing energy. Favourite themes include history, nature and folklore, often via an emphasis on storytelling. She creates much of her art live in public and shares behind-the-scenes glimpses of the creative process via her YouTube Channel. Since 2016, the combined sales of her public art and silent auctions have raised more than £200K for numerous UK charities. She graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2006 with a first class honours in Arabic - the cascading rhythm of Arabic script remains an aesthetic influence to this day. Sustainability lies at the heart of her practice and lifestyle.
