This is an semi/acoustic open mic night which is held in the great, intimate surroundings of the (Public House) Lord Nelson Inn, Commercial Street, Nelson, CF46 6ND. All are welcome. Just ask for the organisers Dave (dot.) Thomas and/or Ben Casey and they will help you out. Entry is FREE as this is a Public House, and as an incentive the Publican offers FREE CHIP BUTTIES to all that perform (or audience members if you sneak in quick enough!). There is always a good line up of talented musicians playing live, anyone can perform individually or with others. If you don't have an instrument there is always someone else that will willingly lend theirs to you for your slot. Approx 10-15 mins of performance time each, but honestly there is no fixed structure. Just come along, ask to play, and take it from there. ALL are welcome whether you wish to participate musically or just be a valid member of the crowd. Enjoy the atmos, chill out and share a drink! ;)
