An alarm clock goes off, and the Ultimate Architect instinctively wakes up, turns off the alarm, and gets out of bed. That’s when they notice that their surroundings are entirely unfamiliar to them. Where are they? It looks like some sort of hotel room. But why are they in a hotel room, of all places? Shouldn’t they be at home? The television suddenly turns on, and a black and white talking bird appears, announcing the start of some kind of life-or-death game. But it can’t be real. Birds can’t talk, and plus, the idea of a life-or-death game is ridiculous. But little do they know that a secret is hidden in the bedside cabinet that will change their world as they know it...
